SKT has been founded by Herman D’Hulster in 1968 and was first introduced as “Stevens Koeltechniek”, which is since the beginning a legally independent family company. The pioneers are already active in the refrigerating branch since 1954, and more specific in the construction of refrigerated milk tanks and the refrigeration for the catering industry. Back then, they already delivered to most of the breweries, dairy farms and slaughterhouses in the area of Ieper.
The company’s main activity includes all types of industrial refrigerating plants such as: freezer rooms, cooling tunnels, climatisation and corresponding automation.
